What is P90X Diet?

P90X Diet is part of the more comprehensive P90X program. This includes both the 13 days P90X nutritional plan and the P90X workout program. The diet will support your weight loss endeavor, while the second program will help you build lean muscles.

P90X Diet Plan

There are three P90X diet phases:

Phase 1: Shred Fat!

  • In this phase your diet will be protein based, with almost no carbs. This provides a good start for the weight loss program and it also facilitates muscle build-up.
  • Duration of this phase is 4 weeks.



Phase 2: Boost Energy!

  • You will step-up the trainings intensity a bit. In order to support your body to do so, you are allowed to start eating complex carbs.

  • You shouldn’t worry that you will gain weight as a result of carbs intake increase. The intensity of your workouts makes-up for that and you need to follow the recommendations in terms of what carbs to eat.
